Chamber of the Year

2006 Chamber of the Year

The Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce was awarded the distinction of the Florida Chamber of the Year in 2006 by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP).

Chamber of the Year is the highest recognition a chamber can receive in Florida. Competition for the award is always fierce and the standards extremely high. An impressive panel made up of leaders in the chamber of commerce profession makes the selection.

“The Greater Lake Worth Chamber has made major strides over the past three years,” said FACP chairman of the board and president of the Kissimmee-Osceola County Chamber Mike Horner. “The chamber has doubled its number of members, achieved the prestigious designation of Certified Chamber, opened a satellite office in its western communities to serve those members and recruited three major new businesses to the community as well as much more during the judging period.”

As the recognized professional and organizational development association for chamber professionals in the state, FACP serves over 150 members throughout Florida.
