Organizational Structure
Three full time employees assist tourists, residents, members, and businesses by answering questions, and passing on vital information. Furthermore, most of Lake Worth’s signature events are organized by the Chamber of Commerce.

The board established the following committees to carry out its operations:

  • Leads Group
  • Ambassador
  • Business Development/Governmental Affairs
  • Evening on the Avenues
  • Street Painting Festival
  • Reggae Fest
  • Tropic Fest
  • Tropical Triathlon
  • Golf Tournament

These committees meet regularly to advance business and community efforts.

Chamber Activities

  • The Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce represents all business interests on all levels: Economic, Governmental, Education; promoting tourism, recruiting new business and industry to the area and beyond.
  • We host a monthly membership breakfast and business card exchange that allows members to be in touch and hear about current concerns, solutions, projects, and issues from local county and governmental leaders, sharing insights and professional perspectives.
  • Our staff responds to thousands of inquiries through the mail and phone regarding relocation, referrals, businesses, restaurants, accommodations, excursions, travel, goods and services.
  • The Tropical Topics, a monthly newsletter, keeps members abreast on the latest issues, concerns, community events, news, and legislative issues.
  • We also provide information regarding demographics, tourist information, vacation packages, opportunities, health care insurance, telecommunication packages, and competitive advertising rates.
  • Signature Events

The Chamber and the Community
The annual membership investment finances programs that represent a voice in local, county, and state governments and support the needs of the community.
