On the Lake Worth Municipal Beach you have 1,000 pristine feet of developed beach at your feet. The newly-opened Lake Worth Pier lures fishing enthusiasts as it is one of the longest piers on Florida’s Atlantic coast. If you’re looking to learn or improve your skills in the water, you'll find instruction for a host of water sports including water skiing, wind surfing and parasailing. You’ll also find some of the best snorkeling and award-winning scuba diving opportunities here.

Several parks give children the use of playgrounds, baseball, and soccer and football fields while others provide tennis, biking and hiking trails. Two parks with water access, Bryant Park on the oceanfront and John Prince Park on Lake Osborne, offer the option of boating and fishing along with traditional park amenities.

Sprawling 6,120 yards along the Intracoastal Waterway, the Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course surrounds you in a unique old-Florida design. As you make your way through town, you’ll find several golf and country clubs, both public and private to satisfy your skill level including the par 72 course at the Lacuna Golf & Country Club.

Tennis pros and amateurs have access to over 1,100 tennis courts throughout the Palm Beach area. Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center won two awards for its outstanding facility while Seaview Park Tennis Center gives all a chance to get acclimated and skilled with its adult and junior programs. Master your game with the numerous tournaments, lessons, drills and clinics that commence on public and private courts.

For those who love to spend time with the animals, the Palm Beach Zoo animals invite you to get to know them a little better. Their family includes kangaroos, otters, tigers, sheep, deer…well, the family is too big to mention them all by name but they love to entertain company and are sure to make you feel welcomed. Lion Country Safari brings the experience of an African game park right to you. Take a ride through the four-mile drive-through preserve then hit the trail on foot at Safari World, the walk-through area of the park. More than 900 animals inhabit this cage-less zoo, and in both areas you can experience an eye-to-eye view of them. Greyhound racing is the sixth largest spectator sport in America, so take in the excitement, fun and make the winning wager at the Palm Beach Kennel Club.
