We serve nearly 700 business members in the Greater Lake Worth area. As the sole business organization in the area, the Board of Directors and staff are proud to provide the following membership benefits and resources to all of our members.
- Maintain and staff a visible, well organized visitors information center and Chamber of Commerce offices, twelve months a year, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., providing information to the public on business services and products provided by member businesses.
- Chamber staff field phone calls from residents, visitors. (The average volume of calls, based on historical research, is as follows: During the months of October through April, an average of 36 calls are received daily and 20-30 walk in visitors are welcomed daily. During the months of May through September, an average of 50 calls are received daily and 10-15 walk in visitors welcomed each day.)
- The nature of phone inquiries is: requests for business referrals, city department referrals, county government referrals, community service inquiries, directions, new business inquiries, tourism questions, relocation/information packages, maps, school information, demographics & statistics, area phone numbers.
- The Chamber prepares and mails out an average of 15 – 20 relocation and information packages every month, year round. Staff customizes the packages to fit the inquirers needs, using materials and information supplied by Chamber business members.
- The Chamber produces and distributes 5,000 high quality Guides annually, at a production value of over $35,000. This glossy magazine is the official guide to our community, featuring Chamber business members as advertisers.
- The Chamber employs 4 full time employees to assist in the visitor’s information, answering the phones and helping visitors.
